Zachary Ray, 31, of Wynnewood, is charged with aggravated indecent assault, child pornography, unlawful contact, and related counts, said the Chester County District Attorney's Office.

Investigators believe that from 2014 to 2023, Ray abused at least three victims between the ages of 10 and 16 at area schools, parks, and homes.

The victims told police that Ray removed their clothes under the guise of a "core check" and then assaulted them while photographing the abuse on his phone, the DA said.

One victim, who Ray coached through the Youth Basketball League of West Chester, said she was abused at borough parks at her home across a six-year period.

Others said they were assaulted at East Goshen Park and at their school during off-hours training sessions on Saturdays, according to prosecutors.

Schuylkill Township and Radnor Township police as well as Chester County and Philadelphia detectives investigated the case.

“The defendant preyed on the innocence of these child victims," said DA Deb Ryan. "These kids and their families trusted him as a coach, a guide, and an instructor so they could grow as athletes, but instead, he violated them and altered the course of their lives with this horrible betrayal."

Investigators think there could be more victims who have yet to be identified. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Detective Ben Martin at 610-344- 6866.

This is the second child sexual abuse case that Daily Voice reported on this morning. Emily Lehneis was a soccer coach and special education teacher when she started an "inappropriate relationship" with a female student in York County. Click here to read about that situation.
